Another concept art for my Warhammer 40,000 fandom concepts. Meet the counterpart for the Astraeus super-heavy grav-tank, the Aurora. The Astraeus is a fine tank that is mainly used in distance and excels at shooting down aircraft. The Aurora excels in urban warfare and destroying fortifications up close. The Aurora has more shielding and armor to allow it to survive in a hostile environment that is city fighting or coming to pointblank range at defenses. Its two primary weapons, macro-plasma cannons to deal allows it to fight long range or destroy heavily-armored targets as it comes up close, and the supersized demolisher cannon, designed to utterly annihilate anything with a relatively short-ranged, rocket-propelled projectile. For added protection, four turrets have been added, two of the rear turrets replacing the modest rear twin-linked heavy bolters. Even if not used in urban warfare this tank could certainly take on armies at close range.
