I couldn't really help myself. Seriously reminded me of Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain. Though I doubt she'll get a bionic myoelectric arm prosthesis. There was also a scene near the end where the main character used his machine gun, probably a MG42, to hit a grenade which then exploded in the path of a German fighter, probably a Messerschmitt Bf 109, and that fighter went down, another great lookalike from MGVPP with the sexy Quiet taking potshots at grenades next to helicopters. One thing I never tried to see was if a parachuted crate falling on a helicopter did anything. There's also the diving and crawling function which reminded me of Venom Snake's dives and crawls and such, and somewhat similar to the gameplay of Rainbow Six Siege.
In the middle of the trailer with the German fighter crashing and slamming into other people, that seriously reminded me of my experience with Battlefield 1942. Shot down an enemy fighter and it crashed right on top of me and killed me. Though I do wonder if this trailer means downed planes can crash land and the pilot can walk out. But anyone catch the car landing right behind the German soldier and then falling on top of him? Great moment from Jurassic Park, though those two survived that falling on top of them.
I have to admit, I'm a little iffy about this Battlefield. I applaud the fact it's more associated and immersed with squad-based stuff, especially when it comes to reviving only your squadmates. Though I find that to be a downer since I can't go about reviving people left and right. God knows healing and reviving is a thankless task. One time, playing BF Bad Company with team killing possible, I healed a guy and he immediately knifed me in the face. And then there was the artillery, I was using that and someone knifed me out of the seat to have it. Luckily, I backtracked and called a mortar strike right on the artillery and the teamkiller, no one could use it for the rest of the game. Good thing team killing is a little harder these days, unless you're playing hardcore. Still, it seems cooperation in a squad is more paramount and sounds like a good thing. I guess I'll see how it turns out in October. Right now, waiting on Detroit Become Human this Friday.
Also, very original, someone in the trailer carried a katana. I wonder how that'll go for melee options. I wonder if bayonets are still in this game. And I think it would be very neat if you can use a towed weapon while it's being pulled by a tank, hello mobile AA fire.
