Guts and Glory II, Chapter 8

The original story had Hera as not being old enough or mature enough or big enough or whatever for Violet to allow her to attend the boat trip. It ultimately felt like it contradicted how Violet would be as a mother of rowdy Deathclaws. Violet seems like a reasonable mother who is open to argument, so I changed the outcome. This, however, also required me to rewrite the following chapters many times over.
Of those scrapped versions, I failed to keep most of them, but next month when I release chapter 9, I will also release at least one scrapped Chapter 9 that I didn't overwrite by accident. Some of you have been asking me about scrapped chapters for this story so I'll finally have something to post next month.
