About The Painting

I've been having a lot of fun lately stylizing my own skull. It's just too interesting! I've experimented with different proportions and styles. This time, I decided to take a more cartoony approach to stylization. I'm really fond of cartoons and get a lot of inspiration from them!

In addition to trying the cartoon style, I also wanted to learn how to draw a grinning expression on this painting. Drawing a grinning face used to be quite challenging for me as I had to learn which muscles would move and which planes of the face would be bulged. However, I think I've finally nailed it with this one.
