Character-Plot Stories and Polls, Coming February

Next month, Character-Plot Stories will become the partner of Monthly Patron Stories.

Well, what the fuck are they? 

CPS (think Child Protective Services, but much cooler) Stories will feature characters of the people in the Snake Venom and Sini's Breath tiers and be based on story synopses. Each synopses will be 1-2 sentences in length, and be a poll option for the Character-Plot stories. (In the Discord server for tiers Scorpion Sting and up, a channel titled #character-plot-story-ideas will be added for people of the eligible tiers to pitch their story ideas.)

How will these poll options be decided?

Welp, in the next few days I'll be hunting down folk in the Snake Venom and Sini's Breath tiers. They can pitch up to two of their characters for a story idea, and include those characters in an idea of 1-2 sentences in length. Once I've compiled the ideas of every contributing person in these tiers, they'll become poll options.

But when? When will we vote?

Voting for CPS stories will take place approximately between the 1st and the 15th of each month. In other words, from now on there will pretty much always be an open poll: either the CPS poll, or the MPS poll.

To be clear, the Character-Plot Stories aren't replacing Monthly Patron Stories; they're a new addition to the Patreon! 

You guys will get to vote on two different things each month, no matter what tier you're at. For each unique poll within the month, your vote count will be refreshed. For example, if you're in the Spider Bite tier, you'll get to cast one vote in the CPS story poll of the month and one vote in the MPS story poll of the month. If you're in the Snake Bite tier, you'll get to cast four votes in the CPS story poll of the month and four votes in the MPS story poll of the month.

These CPS stories will kick off with a minimum of 2,000 words per story. When we reach our $200 goal, the CPS stories will be a minimum of 3,000 words; and when we reach $300, the CPS stories will be a minimum of 4,000 words.
