Showcasing some photos I took when making Elektra, this was mad rush for NYCC so not many pics but will try to explain....plus this felt fitting for the themed month ☺
Here I did a basic sketch taken from a leotard pattern I previously made, just minus a shoulder. Made a side panel, front only has this helps curves the leotard. Line in the middle for "centre fold"
What the pattern looks like on latex, in stages of cutting.

Gluing the side panels first, seal the crotch then side seams. I like to cut long 1cm strips and glue them to the edges around the latex, which is like hemming use in sewing but for latex. This will stop it from ripping.

For her head piece, I made up a semi circle which was slightly curved. This can be tricky to glue, I used cellotape to hold. This helps with any curves and stop it from bubbling.

Leg lace pieces, I used a criss cross technique seen in the pictures below. This was totally made up, just wanted something different.

Arm sleeves, I used the same pattern for Psylocke which I will share in that tutorial.
Hope you find this some what useful or interesting to see unfold.
Have a great day guys!
