Release News for This Week

Hey guys, some quick questions and answers for you about this week's release. Also, a sneak peek image (potential spoiler) at the bottom. Enjoy!

Q: The release is scheduled for today. Is it still happening?
A: No, there's no way it will be ready today. HOWEVER, its looking fucking awesome! ANNNND it will be ready Sunday. It would be tomorrow, but I will be out of the city tomorrow and won't get to it. This last week we had a hurricane hit Florida, and while it was non-eventful, clients actually get slowed down which means it slows me down. So new release date, THIS Sunday. Trust me, it's worth the wait.

Q: Who is going to get the release first?
A: Out of respect to higher patreon tiers, they will get it first. However, instead of a 2-week waiting period, it will only be a 1 week waiting period for the rest. This is to make up for the fact that I didn't expect to release to take this long.

Q: This release took sooo long. What happened?
A: Simply put, I overreached. I thought I would have more freetime and more energy to work after hours than I did, but that wasn't the case. It's embarrassing because in real life I work in a strict agile environment, meaning we only strive for things that we can achieve during a sprint. There's no way I would have allowed my team to attempt so much in so little time.  I don't know what happened - I guess I thought I was faster than I was. But it won't happen again.

Q: Will future characters and releases take just as long to add?
A: Nope. This release was unique for more than one reason. I attempted a lot, and I changed the formula up (you'll see it in the release) which was a departure for the Adult H-Scene that I created for Mrs Incredible. Hopefully I'll get a positive response, but this meant I had to build a sort of Visual Novel experience for this one, which wasn't available before. In short, there was a lot of work on this release that will not need to be repeated for other releases. Unfortunately, 90% of this effort will not be visible to you.
Q: What's going on with Jessica Rabbit?
A: Her storyline takes place in Downtown, Edgeville - not the suburb part. As a result of that, her storyline won't be ready until that part of the environment is done. Her storyline will be very similar to a Noir Detective story. You'll love it.

Q: What about the "Surprise" you wanted to include in this release?
A: Yeah, I had to cut that too. It was a sad day for me when I decided to remove it. But it just wasn't ready.

Q: Anything you want your Patreons to know?
A: Yes, member tiers will soon be meaningful to everyone. I have ideas :)

Q: I became a Patreon because I thought you were going to release earlier, and don't have money this month. Will I still get the release?
A: I understand - and yes, I'm not a monster. I would love to give you a key for this release if you  were a previous Patreon but didn't get a release during that time.

Q: What's the new release schedule look like?
A: If the question is regarding how often will I push out updates, then around 2-3 weeks. If the question is regarding new "content" (characters, story archs, renders, animations) then you'll have to consult the roadmap. I'll make sure to update it again, as things have certainly changed (for the better, I believe).

Q: Posts have been inconsistent. What's going on?
A: This is a mixture of things - availability, energy, and time management. However, I would dare say the motivation wasn't there because I didn't really know what to post. But after getting ideas from you guys, I have a much better idea of what you want to see (even if that includes spoilers, apparently). So expect more soon!
