The searched person on Naver in 2015 and the most famous member of AOA. She's one of Korea's "it girls" — especially around 2015-2018 when she was in an insane amount of CFs (commercials). She's also an actress who's been in dramas and famous movies. You pointed out earlier they were missing a member during practice, and that's her! She's always very booked and busy so unfortunately you see a lot less of her in Queendom. Park Bom had only just recently returned as a soloist, and she didn't quite have the confidence yet to be on a show like this. Meanwhile, Hyolyn on S2 was absolutely dominated the first two rounds, and yet somehow only finished 4th in the end. They are just at a huge disadvantage in being alone, and not having the same fandom as full-on groups.

2023-01-16 10:12:17 +0000 UTCRound 2 was full of bangers, probably my favorite round. I really liked most of the performances and I remember being stunned by AOA's cover of Egotistic. They did a really, really good job and I could tell the veteran groups were putting in the effort. As a moomoo, I gained a lot of respect for AOA after that performance. But it was also the round where I felt sad because I love 2NE1 and Park Bom just...she just needed more help, it felt unfair to watch her compete against full groups when she is pretty much by herself. No disrespect to Cheetah but a part of me was truly, truly hoping CL would come out that staging and they would tear up the stage like old times. Bom put everything she had in that Hann cover and you could tell Hwasa was just absorbing everything, learning from one of her idols live on stage. You have some good performances waiting for you in EP4 and beyond.

Dara- was the one that always had the crazy hairstyles that Yuqi is imitating. Last- these performances have been fire, but it is crazy how it ramps up to ten from here. These last ones are all Jaw droppingly good. You're gonna lose your S for sure. I cannot wait for you to get to put it straight....

I'm sure that you were doing an amazing job explain as well! Every time I watch Queendom or see people react to it, I miss Wheein during. But I am so glad that she took the space for herself even though I hate that it got so bad for her. I'm proud of her for putting herself first. She is so talented and so smart! Great job, yes! All around amazing!

2023-01-16 03:35:09 +0000 UTCI was writing the explanation about Mamamoo's performance as I was watching it but you explained way better than I could! 😄 I would just add a not so fun fact about the episode: Wheein had health issues during Queendom (that's why she's absent in some parts), so she learned the Good Luck choreo in just 20 minutes. But still they all did a great job as always 💜

2023-01-16 02:17:51 +0000 UTCYes, Mamamoo had previously, in 2016 MMA, showcased Drag Queens during their performance of "You're The Best"/"Decalcomanie" in which you reacted to one time. Also this wasn't the first time Moonbyul has had male dancers on leashes. This was technically after she had her performances for the 4Seasons Solo stage where she performed "Moon Movie". Each member did a nod to their solo stages during 4Seasons. She got backlash from this performance because it was on national tv. Funny enough, MNet still let her perform "Moon Movie" again a few months after this on the music show when she dropped and promoted "Eclipse", but MNet got bullied by men into taking that full video down and the only one viewable is the fancam version. Next thing, Solar wasn't just rapping something from "Good Luck". Specifically she was rapping Jimin's (AOA) solo song "Puss" from when Jimin was on UnPretty Rapstar. That's why they cut directly to Jimin. Solar rapped the "PG" version of "I'm the MotherFu**ing Top Madam". Haha. Love it. Also to add, I am not an expert on 2ne1 because I was just a casual listener. But I am pretty sure the corn thing is because Bom used to keep getting yelled at for eating it when she was supposed to be on a diet. I also don't think it was just a simple thing of getting "called out" for eating, if I remember correctly it was pretty bad how they treated her over it... so the gift of corn is actually more meaningful than one might think. Its a nod to being an OG Blackjack (2ne1 fandom). If you love Cheetah then I hope eventually you can get to the show "Good Girl" and react to it. I think you all would love it.

A lot of people were let down that it WASN'T a 2NE1 member. It was really unfair to Cheetah that Mnet really milked the possibility of a 2NE1 member in the promos, and it led to a lot of people being disappointed.

Park Bom, Idle, and the Corn --- A 2NE1 fan can probably better elaborate, but Park Bom is known for loving corn. Miyeon and Park Bom --- I thiiiiiiiiiiink Miyeon was at YG as a trainee when Park Bom/2NE1 were still there? Could be wrong, but unfortunately, the conversation moved very quickly when Miyeon was telling Park Bom that she inspired her to become a singer. Soyeon, upon seeing Cheetah: "It's my teacher!!!" --- It's cute because Cheetah was one of the mentors during Produce 101, and really took a liking to Soyeon then. She also met with Soyeon during Unpretty Rapstar 3 to give her advice and help her prepare for her 1 on 1 stage against Miryo from Brown Eyed Girls. It's a shame Mnet didn't highlight any of this, but understandably, this was Park Bom's stage and time... so didn't want to detract from her too much. (G)I-DLE and 2NE1 --- I think a couple of the 2NE1 members have complimented Idle as having the same trailblazing spirit they had when they were a group. :)
