As anyone that played L4D1 (Or well, he appears in L4D2 as well) knows, Francis is a grumpy fellow that hates everything (From fishes to lawyers to malls and even mondays, just to name a few). He eventually grows on the player and you get to realize that he isn't quite that bad a guy, for the most part.
