It may be possible since she’s young, that she has a type of photosynthesis that reacts with internal stored nourishment from birth to feed her body.? So by the time she becomes older, she’ll seek out nourishment by scavenging/hunting for it.? . All her biology points to amphibious origins & the needed adaptations for such environment. _
