Pokémonday suggestions 25 (12-5-2023)

Hey everyone, welcome to the twenty-fifth Pokémonday suggestions post!

This week, I'm gathering ideas for...

...Howard's ace Pokémon!

It needs to be a Water type, other than that it's all up to you. I'd think it would have something to do with rapids/whirlpools though.

Drop your most creative ideas below!

Could do scylla alternatively (or a combo of both)

Panini Cupcake

I wasn't aware of such a Pokemon.

Tyler Spicknell

Water/Electric typing

John Brito

I like this idea, although gigantamax sandaconda already is a mon that looks like a whirlpool

John Brito

A pokemon based on Charybdis, the Greek sea monster of whirlpools. It's often pictured as a sea snake with a circular mouth and lots of teeth. There's also some cool art with more inviting designs that could serve as inspiration!

John Brito

A Water,Steel swordfish Pokémon that can create cyclones

TheRomanEmpire

A sea snake with a spiral design, able to spin fast to create confusion.

Alex Nelson

A genie coming out of a potion body, with it’s lower half being a sort of whirlpool. Water/Psychic maybe

Plubcol

Pure Water Type Squid that can has tentacles that can spin at high speeds to make temporary whirlpools.

Griefing_g0lem

A Water Steel Type Narwhal with its horn being able to spin and create whirlpools.

J Gerard

An electric frog/turtle that can spin.

Isaac Anguiano

A Pokemon that's basically a living water spout. So it looks like he's fighting WITH a whirlpool!

Tyler Spicknell

Well I googled that great white sharks hang out in whirlpools, and sandpipers create tiny whirlpools to catch prey Perhaps a large great white shark who makes whirlpools to trap fish Pokémon. Maybe the big whirlpool is a massive hunting ground for these things

Cody Toeung

A steel/water that looks like submarine, but the metal is armored scales and the glass front is a large eye.

DoubleAC

A Water/Ground sea snail with an upside down whirlpool shaped shell with a hole at the top. Playing on how sea snails can purify thewater by eating up junk or other impurities that contaminate the water, this Pokémon can eat and digest such things by sucking it into its shell, breaking it down with its inner digestive system inside said shell, and then releasing a burst of purified water. It can also fire off different attacks through its shell hole this way

Kristen Shields

A lizard / lawn sprinkler hybrid (probably Water / Steel). Lower level just has a stream of water coming off it, while the actual Ace could have spirals of water spinning out of nozzles along its back and tail.

Lord Circe

WATER/FIRE TYPE Pokemon, 2 stage line, VOLPHIN (Volcano + Dolphin) SHARCANO (Shark + Volcano)

zonker

Some sort of cephalopod that creates whirlpools by spinning it’s limbs.

The8-BitFan

I will suggest my kingfisher idea again (maybe it could have an Odysseus theme since the Strait of Messina had a whirlpool)

Panini Cupcake

A sea anemone capable with full 360 rotation. Able to stick to any surface and using it's free spinning tendrils on top can cause a whirlpool so form to suck in any nearby pokemon. Think of it as an electric fan.

Chj92

Bouncing off Generic Hero’s idea for Pokémon that help him with his research, did you know that the sailfish is considered the fastest sea creature in the world? They can reach speeds up to 109kph (68mph for us Americans).

Miz Kriss

The engineer thing gave me an idea. How about a mechanical Water/Electric-Type Pokémon with a turbine in its back, a tube that goes from its back to a water cannon on one arm, and a wire that goes from its back to a lightning cannon on the other arm. I know that’s complicated, but the main idea of it is to be a turbine Pokémon.

The Wesinator

Since he investigates the whirlpool, it would make sense his Pokemon would help him navigate the area. So how about convergent versions of Skiddo/Gogoat, based on a sea-goat, like Capricorn?

Generic Hero

Water flying Pokémon based off the Red-necked Phalarope. This bird eats by creating small whirlpools to bring critters up to the water’s surface, and the whirlpools it creates could help in researching the whirlpool itself.

Nocallia

He grants the Whirlpool badge, so maibe something, that resembles that. Hmm. A Mon that can create a whirlpool by sucking his soroundings. Maibe a Whale/Shark like Aquatic variation of Snorlax. Or a second evelution of Wailord who turns into a submarine.

PendragonXD

A Pokémon based off of a spider crab that has drills instead of pincers. Preferably Water/Ground type since we haven’t seen one of those since Gen 5

Nathaniel McKay

A Pokémon based off a Vampire Squid would be pretty epic.
