There ONE Loss, ONE Balthazar and NO JoJo references. Bonus panels don't count.
1: That mountain in the background of the first panel? That's Mt. Coronet.
2: Correct John Hattan, that's indeed a reference to the Pokémon anime (and one of the few episodes I saw as a kid) where Gary Oak scribbles "Gary was here! Ash is a loser!" on a roadsign. But in this case, Barry did the scribbling and Lucas is a loser.
3: Costume: Young Link and Zelda as a Youngster and a Lass, forming a cute pair. (Put 9-Volt In Smash Bros Please)
4: Costume: Sora as a Bird Keeper (Alex Nelson)
5: Costume: Duck as a Psyduck (Ricardo Mosqueda)
6: Costume: Samus as a Battle Girl (you were the first one to guess correctly, Jack!)
7: Samus is apparently strong as hell, carrying three Pokémon with one arm.
8: We can see Cynthia eyeing Kazooie in the background of the first panel. Good eyes, Carlos Mendez.
9: Costume: Kazooie as Ho-Oh
10: Costume: Banjo as Ursaring (Noah)
11: Costume: Piranha Plant as a Bellsprout (Zach Strand)
12: Costume: Kazuya as a Sailor (A Sad Fat Dragon with No Friends)
13: Kazuya is still using his favourite flame-pattern wheelbarrow. Good catch, Zanreo.
14: Yup, Jigglypuff apparently deflates when she dies. But yeah, I guess it's because she's a balloon, Carrick RaccoonBro Inabnett.
15: Costume: Wario as a Hiker (Shelby Kinkead)
16: Costume: Isabelle as Dawn (Zach)
17: Yes CSDX! I indeed put the Valley Windworks windmills there to give context to the Drifloon!
18: Good job Trigger. You found the little Amogus crewmate on Isabelle's Pokédex.
19: One of my favourite Pokédex entries, Luke! It indeed states that Drifloon is rumoured to carry kids to the afterlife (and that it dislikes heavy kids). In the background of this comic, we can see a Drifloon doing just that to a Pokékid.
20: With him mentioning natures, EVs and IVs, the Ace Trainer is definitely a competitive Pokémon trainer, Erin. Although I'm not sure if Electivire is often used as a Special Attacker these days.
21: Quite well hidden this week eh Purple_PyrOZ? Loss is indeed visible in the sparks when Electivire defibrillates Pikachu and Pichu.
22: Haha yeah, this was a subtle one, but Kazuya is indeed the only one not flinching from Electivire's thunderbolt, Lord Circe!
23: I put in some Starly in the sixth panel for extra Sinnoh flair. Correct, GainergettingHuger.
24: Yes Luis Calcaño, Balthazar makes his appearance as (Fakemon) Baltabun in the final panel, next to his new Buneary girlfriend!
25: You're right edmg7, the final panel is a callback/reference to my old Galar Border Patrol comics. Ursaring is even wearing the same hats as the Pangoro in those comics wore.
26: This week's hidden detail found by Phloxiana is not as wholesome: there's a little Eeveelution chart hanging behind Ursaring in the final panel. Sylveon are not allowed in Sinnoh because they're gen 6.
27: And finally, as another reference to the Galar Border Patrol comics: there's a postcard underneath the Eeveelution chart from the Pangoros, saying "Galarian Greetings!". Seems they are doing well, Roberto Nava.
