1: The leaves on the branch Grookey is hanging from form a Loss. Found by James Patrick Victoriano
2: My bunny Balthazar is in the background of panel 1 and 2. Found by Gabriel S.
3: JoJo reference: the tree in the background has berries that look like Polnareff and Kakyoin's earrings.
4: When Zoroark is hit with the final Branch Poke, red/black Smash Bros. Ultimate lightning is visible. Found by Toon Draw
5: There's an Everstone lying near Grookey, which is the reason why he didn't evolve. Found by JakiStow

The trainer, unlike in part 7, has got facial hair now. Possibly a reference to how long grookey's been poking Zoroark, or perhaps referencing something else I'm not aware of
