Time for another quick update from us! Comics are going strong, although I'm having some trouble getting them "out there". Last comic was extremely relevant and topical (and beautiful too, if I say so myself) but it didn't manage to reach a lot of people. Probably because our social media presence is somewhat lacking still (160 followers on Instagram, about 700 Facebook likes and 500 Twitter followers), I just know that if something like Buzzfeed would have posted last week's comic, it'd be all over the internet. So I'm definitely going to look into ways to be a bit more... visible.
Anyway, some big topics coming up, like Doctor Strange, Fantastic Beasts, Rogue One, the Nintendo NX, Pokémon Sun and Moon, Battlefield, Call of Duty, to name a few, so expect comics about those things. But I might use this "calm before the storm" to give ourselves, Wooden Plank Studios, some more depth. Like an origin story. Hopefully I can make Christiaan and me a bit more interesting to make comics about. Should come in handy in times of droughts.
Also: we're very excited to announce that we're officially starting production a new game that originated at the Liberty Global Appathon! We've been talking with Liberty Global and agreed to start a partnership to develop a game in the coming months. You'll definitely see more of this game when we "officially" release it, but expect a social (up to 8 players) party game with a VERY low learning curve, ideal for student dorms and parties!
