Comic and Character Design (1/4)

I'm in the middle of creating an exciting, vampiric, building out-growth comic for a friend. I've spent a great deal of time educating myself how I'd like to draw cramped room scenes in forced perspective, as well as re-tailoring my workflow to better produce comics and design characters.

With permission, I've redesigned my client's OC to have several layers of clothing to outgrow. In these first few pages, I'm finalizing some details and colors in her design before getting into the main meat of her growth sequence and how her body will interact with several rooms as she overtakes the building.

While I have various art accounts like Twitter, DeviantART, etc. All art I share is first uploaded early to Patreon, with some of it remaining exclusive here. I'm glad you enjoy the art I create. I tend to experiment a bit in ways that I hope properly aim me to improve.

Ah okay. I don’t remember exactly what I was thinking off. I was just curious to see if you had any comics or art that isn’t posted on here that would be on another site for purchase or anything. Just curious since I know some artists repost some commissions worked for sale. Just wanted to see if you do because I love your art style and I always wanna see more of it.

Which comic are you thinking of? I have several WIP comics of varying degrees of commitment. The two past main hurdles for me in making panelled, high-resolution projects was that I had an inefficient, excessively layered workflow and my old computer could barely handle drawing at 4k. A few months ago my computer was struggling even at 3k and needed fifteen minutes to boot, so I had to build a new computer. I tried to optimize my build for high-res drawings, which it's doing well so far with the new comics I'm working on being easy to draw at 8k. Next was rework how I draw and getting confident in using less layers. I experimented a lot with shading towards the end of 2024, mostly just to build mileage in 2D rendering and grayscale painting. As far as personal WIP comics, I still plan on making more panels for my Physical Therapy works and wrap up some smaller ones I've started. However, with the purchase of a new computer, along with other expenses, I've been prioritizing new commissions to help pay it off.

Hey I remember you worked on a comic a while ago, I thought the whole thing would be posted here, are you comics like for sale on a different site or only for those who commissioned it or personal projects only?
