I miss Champs so much. SAG sandwich was my go to. The original chef opened a new place in the same spot called Ro’s but have not tried it.

My former favorite restaurant in NYC Champ’s Diner (R.I.P.) was the opposite of this, they’d say what their chicken was made out of in the description but they called it chicken, not “chick’n” or other cute bullshit. Could easily think it was a normal diner if you werent paying super close attention. That being said, the Mr Charlies aesthetic isnt the worst offender I’ve seen.
