In these qurantine days I've found myself reaching to the back of the pantry and going through our stash of instant ramen. However, when I make it these days I like to spice it up. I usually add sesame oil, soy sauce, and Sriracha to a bowl of chicken flavored ramen. Do you enjoy instant ramen from time to time? If so, do you spice it up at all?

In the past 3 days I splurged on food items to be delivered to me at prices I would otherwise balk at. I spent nearly $30 to get a box full of 2 ounce bags of Zapps Voodoo Heat chips, a variety I've wanted to try but aren't sold where I live. I also spent $130 for 5 authentic vegan deep dish pizzas to be mailed to me from Chicago. Am I suffering from stimulus silliness or is splurging like this acceptable? Have you ever ordered a rare or coveted food item for overnight delivery? If not, is there anything you would consider splurging on in the future?

I love the group, they are pretty fun and have beautiful spreads even if this is something I personally have never participated in. As in what's your preferred cut/way of cooking it/way of serving it/sides to eat with it? Until recently, my favorite was a NY strip on a cast iron, and served au poivre with roasted brussel sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes. However, last week I tried my hand at a 3lb tomahawk ribeye for a little quarantine birthday treat and I truly learned just how delicious a steak could taste. Maybe as an lil' bonus question (since steak cuts come in a wide variety), perhaps you could choose one to prepare on a budget and one to prepare as a treat? Cause I also love a good flank steak for fajitas, or perhaps some of your southern listeners prefer a chicken fried steak! Also-- a very sincere thanks to everyone involved in putting the episodes out during all this. It sounds silly, but you're all providing the world with much needed laughter right now. Was looking forward to seeing you guys in Chicago again this summer, but I'm guessing that'll have to wait... Either way, can't wait to attend another Doughboys live! Stay safe out there.

He argues that since nuggets are ground chicken that can be formed in any shape including a ball they meet the basic criteria of a meatball: ground, seasoned, and cooked meat. He further argues that a meatball doesn't have to necessarily take the shape of a ball (in his words, a football isn't 'ball' shaped) so the shape of a nugget/meatball is immaterial to its definition. Everyone else in our family, myself included, says no, a meatball and nugget are two distinct kinds of foods. We've said that the main differentiating factor is the mode of preparation: a nugget is often breaded and deep-fried whereas a meatball is not breaded and is cooked often by first pan-searing and then either roasted in an oven or simmered in a sauce to finish. No matter how convincing our argument, my brother-in-law, like Mitch arguing that a cupcake is pie, remains unswayed by our logic. Do you have any thoughts on this not age-old question, "Are nuggets actually a meatball?" p.s. My wife and I saw your live show when you came to Milwaukee in January. I feel weird getting carry out for 1 so I have pondered, but not acted on, getting a second entree. I grew up pretty poor and we ate a lot of subsistence foods. One thing we ate a lot was chipped beef gravy on toast, or as my mom called it “shit on a shingle.” Recently, I was at a trendy restaurant and saw it on the menu with a fancy name and at a ridiculous mark up. Have you ever come across something on a menu you think of as poor peoples’ food that has been plus-ed up to make it seem bougie?
