I once had fantastic breakfast fried rice at the Vegas airport Pei Wei. A lot of airport restaurants just do normal breakfast sandwiches/bagels...what’s a restaurant that doesn’t do breakfast that you’d invent a breakfast item to serve at an airport location?

Hey guys, just recently joined the Patreon and I'm loving all the doubles! That said, in one of the live tour episodes (I think it was JapaDog) Mitch said that he enjoyed the matcha dessert, I think it was ice cream. Infamously, Mitch hates all green tea flavored desserts that poor Yusong loves so much, so I've gotta point out that matcha is ground green tea! Anyway, are there any chains you don’t particularly care for in general, but have one or two menu items that you really enjoy? For example, I just tried a Crunchwrap Supreme from Taco Bell for the first time a few months ago and I loved it. I don’t eat there otherwise because the rest of the menu kind of grosses me out but I’ll go out of my way for a Crunchwrap if I’m craving it. Love the show so much. Thanks! P.S. Sup boys- y'all ever hide your fast food eating from a loved one due to shame? Once after a night of drinking, I stopped at McDonald's and brought home and ate a #1 meal with a 6-piece nuggets while my healthy vegetarian girlfriend slept in the next room (she stayed in that night). I thought I had hidden all the evidence, but the next morning she noticed the napkins I left on the table had the faintest golden arches imprinted on them. Hi Doughboys! I love to travel and eat at local restaurants wherever I go, and once I find a place I love I end up going back every time I go to that city. But for cities that I visit often, I have so many of those that I find it hard to keep trying new restaurants because I’m too busy eating at all my favorites. This is not so much a question, as a comment that I believe might promote discussion. I believe the reason that many people find vanilla ice cream is “plain” is because all ice cream has vanilla. It is a base component of ice cream, like sugar and cream. Similarly, cheese pizza is the base model of pizza. Classical French bread consists of only flour, water, yeast and salt. Fresh cheeses like paneer, queso fresco and mozzarella are milk, salt and a coagulant with no aging. Tortilla chips are nixtamalized cornmeal, water and salt. These things are all very popular and can stand on their own, but I think it’s important to recognize that they are also plain. This may devolve into semantics, but I consider “plain” to mean the absolute minimum amount of features required to define a food, my enjoyment notwithstanding.

I'm not sure if either of you are Sex and the City fans but there is a phrase Carrie uses "secret single behavior" for things you do alone that you wouldn't do around your partner. I know for me mine have always been food related- eating something really unhealthy or trashy that my husband would find gross like a meal made up of gas station snacks or just like a whole cake. What is your experience with Pakistani cuisine and what is the Pakistani food scene in LA like? I grew up eating it and find that in the US, it often gets lumped in with Indian cuisine which has similarities but it is distinct (and delicious!). As a bicoastal hosting duo, have either of you noticed any regional disparities in quality between franchises of the same chain? This question sprung to mind while listening to the Munch Madness tournament when Little Caesars defeated Papa John's in the opening round. Virtually everybody I know in West Virginia, where I grew up and still live, would agree that Papa John's is the best of the national pizza chains while Little Caesars is by far the worst. Hey guys, I was eating cashews the other day and came to the conclusion that they are the shrimp of nuts. Not only are they the same shape, but if either are out at a party, I'll eat too many and get a tummy ache. I began comparing other nuts to seafoods. You will undoubtedly agree that pistachios are the mussels of nuts. I also believe that macadamia nuts are the scallops of nuts, in both appearance and how fancy they are. In Australia, we're used to seeing ourselves in film and TV as Forster's beer drinkers and constantly putting shrimp on the barbecue. Truth is no one drinks Forsters here, and it's much more common to have a sausage on a BBQ, with cooked brown onion and tomato or BBQ sauce, served on white bread. Better known as a sausage sizzle.
