This well crafted and embellished crossbow is made of dark pine wood, and the limbs are formed from polished and preserved antlers.
While you are wielding this weapon and attuned to it, you can access the following properties:
Charging Bolt. Once per turn when you make an attack with this weapon, you summon a spectral cervid around the bolt to ram into the target. You choose whether to use this ability before making your attack roll. On a hit, the attack deals an additional 1d8 cold damage and is pushed five feet away from you.
Crippling Elements. When you damage a creature with this weapon, it gains vulnerability to cold damage until the end of your next turn. If the creature has resistance to cold damage it does not gain the vulnerability but does lose the resistance. A creature immune to cold damage is unaffected.
Magic Weapon. You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.
