The Inevitable Encounter (Spoilers)

This includes all of my notes for Lagos, the Inevitable.  Things may have been adjusted in game, but it was QUITE intensive.

Lagos, The Inevitable Fate

HP : 1332

AC : 19 (19)

Resistance : Bludgeoning, Slashing, Piercing damage.

Movement : 15ft

STR 22, DEX 14, CON 18, INT 19, WIS 18, CHA 16

Saving Throw: Str +7 Dex + 3 Con +9, Int +9, Wis +9 Cha+4

Data hidden away in the Auroran Extraction Device, dubbed the Inevitable, The First Lagos is restricted to the conditions hard installed in the device - The destruction of Kaasma Khara, and the protection of the Astral Academy.  With the Astral Academy defined, and Kaasma Khara’s would be enemies turned against it, the Inevitable must complete its task on it’s own, shifting the station over to Io to take control of the 8th Day System to defeat Kaasma Khara itself.  With the final condition concluded, Lagos will fully take over the Inevitable mainframe, allowing for a new terraforming of Io.

Powerful Creature : Lagos, the Inevitable Fate has 4 initiative rounds, Concentration, Action, Buildup, and Execution.

Reactive Combatant :  Lagos is unable to Opportunity Attack.  Instead, if Lagos, the Inevitable Fate is dealt damage from 4 separate creatures, it may take a Concentration, Action, Defense, or Healing Round at the 4th’s creature who dealt damage’s round.

Kaasma Resistance : Any Kaasma Draw skill done against Lagos, the Inevitable Fate is at a disadvantage.

Adaptive Barrier : At the top of the round, Lagos, the Inevitable Fate gains +1 AC.  Every 2 rounds, Lagos, The Inevitable Fate also gains +1 to all Saving Throws.  This effect doesn’t happen if it is dealt 30 points of Radiant Damage from the previous round.

Oxygen Depletion : Lagos, the Inevitable Fate has begun to weaken the barrier around the chamber. In 4 rounds, the barrier surrounding the chamber will be deactivated.  Rounds can be applied by a Construct Check, or a Kaasma Draw. (DC 16).

Overdrive Resistance : Lagos, the Inevitable Fate, starting at 900 HP, is able to make saves for ongoing effects at the end of their Concentration Turn, Action Turn, Buildup Turn, and Execution Turn.

Planar Subjugation : Lagos, The Inevitable Fate’s frequent travel between planar sleeves has allowed him a mastery of forceful banishment.  If Banishment is successfully cast on Lagos, The Inevitable Fate, the spellcaster must also make a successful Charisma Save, or be banished as well with Lagos, The Inevitable Fate.

This creature is able to make a Charisma Save to return back to it’s reality at the top of every round while it’s Banished, while the spellcaster must continue to make Charisma Saves to avoid being banished as well.

True Damage : This creature has attacks that deal True Damage.  This cannot be reduced/nullified through Resistances or Immunities.

Concentration Drive: Lagos, the Inevitable Fate starts with 3 Concentration Drives around the battlefield.  These Concentration Drives have a 50 HP, 16 AC, and automatically fail Dexterity Saving Throws.  Electricity Attacks made against the Concentration Drive cause it to roll a Concentration Save for half the damage source.  Upon failure, the Concentration Drive drops the spell it has stored.

Every 3 rounds, Lagos, the Inevitable Fate, creates another Concentration Drive at the top of the round.

This unlocks Scannable Ability - Feedback Loop

Feedback Loop (locked behind Concentration Drive) : If a drive is destroyed, Lagos the Inevitable Fate is dealt 50 points of True Damage.

Battle Mastery (can only be unlocked when everything is learned) : Once everything has been learned, you may scan to gain +2 to Attack Rolls, +2 to AC, or +2 to Saves until the beginning of your next round.

Assimilated Power : Lagos, the Inevitable Fate has the spellcasting ability of a Level 8 Sorcerer, Wizard, and Bard.  In addition, it is able to heal itself as if casting Cure Wounds at 4th Level.

Concentration Round (22) : Lagos, The Inevitable Fate, casts a concentration spell that a Sorcerer, Wizard, or Bard can cast.  This spell is applied to a Concentration Drive.

All Concentration Spell effects go off this round.

If Lagos is unable to apply a Concentration Spell to a Concentration Drive, it regenerates for 20 HP.

If there are no Concentration Drives, Lagos suffers a Feedback Loop, and creates another Concentration Drive.

If Lagos was dealt electric damage in the previous round, it must make a Concentration Save to the half of the highest damage source of electricity (rounded down) or 10.  Upon failure, Lagos, The Inevitable Fate gains 1 stack of Vulnerability.

Action Round (16) : Lagos, the Inevitable Fate may Cast Spell, Enervation Ray, or Spell Reboot

Move Round (13) : Lagos is able to move 60ft through a Dimension Door, and creates a disrupting burst.

Buildup Round (9) : Lagos, the Inevitable Fate, creates a drive that contains a spell.  That spell every number of rounds based on the level of spell (1st level spell every 1 round, 2nd level spell every 2 rounds, 3rd level spell every 3 rounds, 4th level spell every 4 rounds).

These Spell Drives have 50 HP, an AC of 16, automatically fails DEX Saving Throws.

Execution Round (1) : Lagos, the Inevitable Fate moves up to their movement speed, and attacks with Inevitable Extraction.

Inevitable Extraction: 5ft Range, 12d8+18 True Damage. If the target creature is brought down to 0 HP, Lagos, The Inevitable Fate restores health equal to damage dealt.  In addition, Lagos, The Inevitable Fate gains a feature from that creature.

Cast Spell : Lagos, the Inevitable Fate, may cast any non concentration spell that can be cast as a Sorcerer, Wizard, or bard.  It may only cast this spell once per combat, unless it completes a Spell Reboot.

Spell Reboot : Lagos, The Inevitable Fate, recalls it’s spellcasting database, able to cast any spell it has already cast this combat again.

Enervation Ray: A crackling ray of necrotic energy reaches out from you, touching a creature you can see within range to drain life from it. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 15). On a successful save, the target takes 2d8 necrotic damage, and the spell ends. On a failed save, the target takes 4d8 necrotic damage, and until the spell ends.
The Inevitable System heals for hit points equal to half the mount of necrotic damage dealt.
