Post: Times are a Changin’ [for me]

[TLDR: I have schedules, Saturday UTC is WIP day, bug me anytime]
Thank you for all the supportive comments and suggestions left during the last few days! I’m making this post just to notify my lovely Patrons of a few changes on how I’m going to be conducting things now that I’m out in the country for a more productive schedule and workday! For you as a Patron, nothing is changing reward wise. But you can expect me to be more organized and more notifications!
On availability:
My Patreon message response time has skyrocketed recently! My old phone stopped working about a week ago and I upgraded to a modern one that can receive notifications! So now when I get a notification on Patreon, it beeps at me! That means, if you have an urgent problem, I’m likely to read the message within minutes of getting it (unless I’m asleep or my phone is entirely on silent).
On discord I’ve been asked a few times what the different status symbols mean. There’s green(online), yellow(idle), red(do not disturb), and gray(offline). I’ve been told by some Patrons that for some Mod Authors, they don’t want to be bugged if their status is anything but green. This 100 percent isn’t the case for me. Please bug me anytime. I use the symbols more to mark the likelihood of receiving a timely response.
- Green means I’m here, your message will likely get read within 30 min (my screen is covered by code most of the time!)
- Yellow means I’m here but focusing heavily on something else. Time to read comment varies from 30 min to an hour.
- Red means I’m busy, time to read may be a few hours. Busy can mean many things here. Such as focusing on a bug fix really hard, or maybe I’m out and about.
- Gray means don’t expect me to read the message for many hours. I’m likely asleep or otherwise off discord entirely.
But feel free to message me anytime on discord! I really don’t mind.
Scheduling!
Something I had in the city were schedules. But when I left the city (and my two jobs) those schedules went away too. Well I’m bringing them back, I now have hours set aside time for everything, so I can work more efficiently including ‘office hours.’ As I mentioned above, I’m always looking for bug reports but now from 3 pm UTC to 5 pm UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) I will be responding to my message backlog from my Patreon (first) and LL users. Ofc I’ll be looking for bug reports all day, so don’t feel like you have to wait until this time to send bug reports, but it will be when I’m most free for everyone.
Saturday is WIP day!
Most of you want me to bug you more through Patreon. So, I’m going to do this through post on Saturday (UTC time again) that start with the WIP tag to show what was being worked on during the past week.
Informational post titles will be marked with Notice, like seen above, Hotfixes and updates will remain how they were before.
I’ve already started following my schedule and with many of the suggestions I’ve received (street lam night light, city scape soundscape, more exposure to the buggy countryside air) I can finally feel my productivity rising again!
Thank you everyone for being with me on this Journey!

Ok, thank you very much for the quick reply. I really like that you have a set day for when you post your WIPs now. Gives me something to look forward to checking.

2018-09-06 17:19:22 +0000 UTCI'm totally the opposite of you, if I moved into the city I'd have to majorly readjust. The population of the town I live in now is approx. 500...and that's WAY too many for my taste. ;)
