VNGE v41.3 patch (for v41) and instruction
Added 2023-02-18 12:51:31 +0000 UTCThis patch is for VNSound. Now you can record the spectrum and then replay it with MMDD when using VideoExport to render a video.
So, after you set up a spectrum, click the "record" button.

Then choose a sound file to record spectrum data. Typically the same music in your dance.

When recording started, the music will be played but the animation bound with the spectrum setting will not! It is NOT a bug, because I want to keep FPS as higher as possible when recording. It is recommended to hide all objects and UI too.

When recording, you can set up some options. Id and Alias are not used yet, so feel free to set anything or just ignore them. Resample is how many samples per second will be saved. And sync setting helps your recorded spectrum start with MMDD or a selected VNAnime clip. (To render with MMDD, choose MMDD!)

When the sound is recorded and you are OK with the options, click the "Done" button. Now you will see the spectrum is marked as recorded.

Then it will not link to any sound anymore. It will follow the sync setting and play the recorded spectrum when MMDD or VNClip is playing. Note, if it is synced with MMDD and you had your MMDD started, then the play button in VNSound will not work because the auto-sync setting has higher priority.
After recording, you CANNOT adjust the spectrum setting before discarding recorded data. But still, you can adjust the VNAnime clips which are driven by the spectrum.
Happy MMD life!
