Beks + HAPPY NEW YEAR (psa)

ignore that comms were very slow to update this week, I have some WIP’s I’m about to dump here today, but this is the official last piece of art I did for 2022. Bringing in the new year with a bang?? I sure hope so!

2022 took a very wild turn, ON MY BIRTHDAY NO LESS!!, and now here we all are? You guys are helping me making my first ever 18+ series/projects, and I’m sharing bunk beds with a werewolf now?? The shapeshifters got sick of my bs and took their human friends on an intergalactic cruise until I decide to get my ducks all in a row. Which is just a dumb sleep deprived way of saying: thank you For indulging me in our new characters/stories, and I‘m excited to bring the old ones back this year! Dagger and Dakota leading the charge on so many of these huge, recent Patreon changes, I’m floored. For everyone who messaged me over the past few months telling me it’d be okay if I wanted to do Haunting Dagger stuff for a little bit, and give Lucky! a break: thank you. Your encouragement played a huge part in this.

SHORT TERM: I’ll be posting one - maybe two? - sketch pages of more of the Third Date oneshot today. I didn’t expect to run out of sketchEd pages because I didn’t think we’d hit the two page/week goal so fast! You guys are so incredible, I love it. AND ITS CHRIS WEEK, which means I‘ll be doing some personal stuff between comic updates. The lineup is: Dagger/Dakota full body refs (FINALLY), Luciana alt. Cover for the B&W oneshot, and… A Sleek. Because I miss them. Updates will still be posted this week! Mags and I both agreed comic stuff will stay on the schedule even for Chris Week. I don’t think y’all realize just how self indulgent this is for me. Or maybe you do! Thanks anyway!

LONG TERM: What’s going to happen in 2023? Well, that’s up to y’all! 

COMICS- I’m already almost finished with Third Date (only five pages left to color!) and then I’ll be starting the B&W Oneshot that was unlocked at the $3k goal AND starting official pages for Haunting Dagger, the more plot driven project (but some parts will still be 18+, just think of it as like… more of the nsfw oneshots with Dagger/Dakota, with some of their backstories in between). And as I’ve mentioned before, Lucky! will return, at its own pace. I won’t commit to an “episode/month” schedule again, because it’s very daunting trying to juggle that and these other comics. I might add more comic related goals to this page, but for now, this is the plan. If my higher goals get met, I’ll be doing more pages/comics per week, and maybe have another lucky! 18+ Oneshot planned… idkkkk. 

COMMISSIONS: Patreon rewards won’t be changing this year, but I will probably cut back on taking custom commissions significantly. My goal is to get my custom queue cleared out, and only take commissions for emergencies, and implement a faster turnaround time. i Did a LOT of comms this year! And I still have a good chunk left, so I’m excited to get those knocked out. It’s crazy how much I feel like my mindset around work has shifted since Patreon has kept my head above water this past month without stressing so much over bills and pre-k expenses. Things that I would’ve been stressed and rushing through, I get to just have fun and make them pretty without that extra worry. I have y’all to thank for that.

ADOPTS: Adopts will stick around, but I’m gonna have to get creative with them LOL I dropped the ball tremendously this winter because I couldn’t come up with designs (and I always FORGET I can just. Ask people for help. Whomp) we’ll still do our monthly polls and such! It might be a great time to start making some new bases again, I’ve been using the same ones for two-three years now?? AHH
