What's been great about these last few pages is how quick and easy they've been to draw. Not surprising, considering that they're mostly zoomed in on Kevin and Elaine's faces while they're laying on top of sand. Less stuff to draw means less time needed to work on it, which means more time to goof off and do nothing. So starting from here on, all future pages will involves characters laying on top of sand while the camera zooms in on their heads. I will find some sort of justification for it to always happen, no matter what the plot entails. They'll go to the beach, Kevin installs a sandbox in his living room, a sand truck crashes into Owen's house, Jade orders Miranda to test the bodysuit in the Sahara Desert, and so on. On Saturday I spent the evening at my brother's house watching the anime Bartender while trying out a couple drinks that are featured in the show. I would've tried more, but one of the mixes required this one liquor that cost $56 a bottle, which we decided was not worth the price to try one drink. The two I tried were the Grasshopper and Hemingway Daiquiri. The Grasshopper was super good! It tasted like a dark chocolate thin mint! Really wish I had chilled it first or put ice in it, as it was warm due to having just went to the store and bought the mixes. The Hemingway Daiquiri felt like I was on the verge of getting a sore throat with how tart it was. I'm not sure if my brother mixed it wrong, or if Hemingway's taste buds were shot to hell, but me, my brother, and his fiancee didn't like it. We tried sweetening it by adding some orange and lemon mix thing my brother already had, which made it easier to down. I don't plan to have it ever again. From what I understand a regular Daiquiri is suppose to be sweeter, so I'll be willing to try that. But man, Hemingway. You're too powerful for me!
