Sappy Morning post..

Ok guys so.. seems like my Jeanne cosplay will arrive soonish to the Chinese warehouse and then I'll be able to ship it to myself.
I'm so nervous it makes my tummy hurt just to think of wearing it. Jeanne d' Arc has always been a figure that has inspired me and helped me thru hard times.
You guys probably don't know but my full name is Jeanette (please don't refer to me by that name tho!) and in Cuba I used to get bullied for it quite a lot. I was a small kid with a French name that nobody knew how to pronounce so they would call me weird names to make fun of my unusual name. Basically adults started calling me Yanet, even my family calls me that lol. I was so sad and would asked my mom why she named me like that instead of Yanet. She then talked to me about Jeanne, The maid of Orleans, and how strong and how proud of her name she was. Jeanette is a diminutive form of the name Jeanne. The name is derived from the Hebrew "God is gracious". Since then I've been proud of my name and when they would make fun of me or tell me how long my name was I would just keep my head up and explain how I shared names with the Holy Maiden. I was so happy my name wasn't something to be embarrassed of anymore!
When I started getting into Fate even tho I liked many characters cause I LOVE history there was no character I would consider my number one. Yeah, not even Arturia, I love her but for some reason I couldn't call her my #1. The day I came to know Jeanne was a Heroic Spirit I literally couldn't stop going nuts about it! Finally! I had found the character I was waiting for! She is my precious waifu and I will always treasure her.

I'm really scared of not doing her justice but gosh I'm trying my best. Jeanne has become my dream cosplay and I just can't wait for the day I get to be her.
