Sneak Peeks for the future

Howdy folks!

I've been taking it easy in November, relaxing and focusing on my day job, but I've had the time to sketch and plan the next 8 comic strips. My hope is to have atleast them done by the end of January, but hopefully I can get more done in January as I've got the whole month free (I've quit my job to find one closer to home, hopefully I start the new on in February), so I'll have a nice little buffer when the comic kicks off again!

Thought I'd give you fine folks a VERY rough sneak peek of what I've been working on! Here's three rough sketches for panels (in no particular order) that'll show up in the new year!

There's also the very first draft of the world map! I wanted to do some proper world building and not just create stuff as I go. That's been the style both for the comic and my DMing, I plan on changing both! When my current campaign runs out (I DM a campaign set in the homebrew universe of one of the players, also a DM), I'll take my time and create my own setting. Thought I'd hit two birds with one stone and focus all my world building into the world that the Bucket Brigade inhabit and host my D&D games there in the future. Map is just part of it, been writing down notes on the world, factions. nations and all that jazz! Got some ideas on how to use it all in the comic!

It's the very first draft, got things I want changed already. Particularly I want to de-europe-fy it a bit. That just sort of happened. Maybe I'll do the toss-some-rice-and-that's-the-landmasses-trick. We'll see!

That's all for now!

Stay excellent out there!

Peace and carrots!

Great looking map so far, keep adding details and lore. It'll turn into the world you envision, and we'll be here for the wild ride..

So far the rpocess has just been doodling some random landmass and then changing working from that. Planning on trying out the rice thing, seems like a fun idea! Cheers!

What's your process for map making? Some people use rice or macaroni but I saw a post about using dice and the numbers representing certain things(i.e. mtns, valleys, forests). I love maps. I also love your comic.
