Update 08/14 - Animation, Audiowork and the Apocalypse!

It is Alfabusa, doing one of these that they them Updates again.

I want to first remark that work has been slightly slower due to this being prime vacation period in our little company...

But, that does in no way mean things haven't progressed.
In significant ways, even!
So, let us look at each individual project we're going at right now to see where we are.

Hunter: The Parenting Script-Writing Issues?!

No!

We are officially out of the bottleneck!

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!!!!!!!

THANK FUCKING GOD

I am so happy to be out on the other side of this.

Don't get me wrong, writing scripts is one of the most fun things we do.

But, it's been so much work to get us to a place where we feel comfortable refocusing and lending less time to scriptwork.

As you may or may not know, in the last months, we've been stuck in a period of intense scriptage. This, due to a major lack of finished scripts after the completion of Chapter 5.
This very much ended up bottlenecking us, slowing down almost all other facets of production in favour of getting our scriptwork up and running properly again.

But now, finally, FINALLY....
We no longer have an all-hands-on-deck situation going on and most of the crew can go back to focusing on other work.

And, speaking of other work…

CHAPTER 5.2: Werewolf Lore

Things have started truly picking up on this front.
We now have two people working on the audio, myself and Earndil, and boy oh boy oh boy have I missed audiowork.
But, whilst we’re making great progress, this is currently looking to be the longest Audiolog ever. So, it’ll take a bit extra to get concluded, but I promise it’ll be worth it, I have no small amount of confidence in the vibes this Sub-Chapter is setting the table with.

CHAPTER 5.3: Let's go to O'Tolleys!

As we might have mentioned last, Chapter 5.3 has been finished and is ready to be recorded! Our dear friend Mackeerre has also started composing some concept tracks for this particular Chapter, which will surely tantalize the brain meat. Door’s Theme coming back strongly.

CHAPTER 5.4: Second Inquisition

This has been the last script to be finished up by us, but indeed, it has now officially been finished and shot with the approval gun.
And with this great beast finally sealed, we have passed through the claustrophobic throat of the bottle and exited onto the vast world of the kitchen floor that we may become a sticky puddle upon, growing with the bacterial fungi of freedom. Glee

CHAPTER 6

Chapter 6 is finally, actually moving into the realm of animation.
With storyboarding finished, audio in a great state and almost all the new fullbodies finished, we’ve had illustrators start drawing our first Panels. And now, with everything else in place, those Panels will be animated! Extremely exciting!

CHAPTER 7

Now that the bottleneck has been truly exited, Chapter 7 is going to be the next big focus, with our goal being to have Chapter 7 fully finished before the release of Chapter 6, so no other evil fucked up script bottleneck keeps us pinned down for months on end by the time of the next release.

If I’m real, this has been a highly frustrating and stressful time for us, but now we’re finally back from purgatory and able to keep our gears greased going into the next phase of production.

Norfolk Wizard Game

So, we finally managed to release NWG Chapter 3. Took some time.
The great yearning does not go unrecognised.
Our want is to get the next one out far sooner than it took for Chapter 2 to be released.
We’ve started setting up the editing for the next one already, and you can expect an audio version of NWG Chapter 4 to release here on Patreon a good time before it releases on YouTube.

In addition, we’ll be making an extra upcoming post that will contain every single Chapter of NWG released so far in mp3 format, available for you to download, that we will update every time a new Chapter releases.
