Update 12/06 - Hunter: The Parenting is Changing!

That's unfortunate because now it's update day.

It is me Earndil again with Patreon Update of the biweekly variety, or as close to it as we can reckon with how busy we've been.

But rather than just wax poetic about how busy we've been, I can simply point to many things we've gotten done in the past few weeks and months and just... vaguely gesture to them to make my point.
And then also talk about things we're working on.

We've released a whole new Audiolog, a Chapter of Norfolk Wizard Game, as well as a Short that we were working on for 5 months!
(Not really, it was just forgotten for 5 months until it came to light that it was almost complete).

On top of all that we're working on releasing ANOTHER Audiolog TOMORROW, and the audio work for another Audiolog has been completed, with a release slated for just after Chapter 5.

As Alfa has dictated to me, this is all thanks to the B-Team, comprised of Me, Thunder, and some of our other freelancers like Dr. White.

But as you can tell we've been nose-to-the-grindstone to get this all done, and we have no intention of slowing down!

Work is still being put in on Chapter 5, and it should (as you've grown weary of hearing no doubt) be some of our finest work to date.

We have also come to a consensus going forward, and you may have already seen it by the time this update goes out, but some Chapters and aAudiologs have been re-labelled (title and thumbnail-wise).

For Chapter 6 and onward, we have made structural changes to our scriptwork process to facilitate shorter and sweeter Chapters, far more like HTP Chapter 3.

In addition we have recognised that, observing median viewership, our Audiologs are watched on par (or in some cases even more) than the animated Chapters.

In the past, we have used our Audiologs as supplementary material that expands the setting and gives our characters an opportunity for smaller moments, allowing for more natural, introspective development.

Given the general viewership of the Audiologs, and our wish to not have our animated Chapters be overbloated going into the future, we plan to no longer treat Audiologs as merely supplementary.
Instead, Audiologs will be rebranded as Sub-Chapters that will be treated with equal import and substance as the mainline Chapters.

As we write Chapters, we will assume that people who watch them have also watched or listened to the Audiolog Sub-Chapters, and if they haven’t, they’ll have to either FIX THAT or survive on the crumbs of context clues and “Last Time On” summations.

We will take efforts to not make the lack of context overwhelming, so that people do not have to watch 6+ hours of content just to catch up (even though many have indicated the exact opposite, and in fact want far more).

We still plan to have many Sub-Chapters be focused on creative liberty, smaller character moments, expanding the setting and story vertically and allowing for big lore dumps and exposition what we enjoy.

But, this series will now be a Multi-Media Experience~.
Kind of like a uuuuh game where you got in-game dialogue interspersed with animated cutscenes my life is like a video game -- This last part was wholly written by Alfa please help him he loves Falling in Reverse too much.

That's quite a lot to go over, but it's ALL FOR GOOD PURPOSE.

We've got tons of work to do, and not a lot of time to do it!
