As was discussed in the past, we were looking to get our newest project, our Mage: The Ascension Actual-Play "Norfolk Wizard Game", up on as many Podcasting apps as possible. We have done this now. The RSS Feed has been thrown around and it should appear on whatever Podcast app you prefer using, not just the ones linked above.

In addition, we have also uploaded all Hunter: The Parenting Audiologs created so far as well for you to eat.

As you might notice, ALL of the Episode 0 Awakenings have now been finished and uploaded as well!

I will now inaugarate these two next Awakenings and give you a quick summary.

The Awakening of Samson Tuttle!

I'm happy to first off introduce our friend Earndil as our third player!

Earndil is known for his many roles across all our projects including the Grand Provost Marshal in TTS, Dr Bags in HLZV and the Great and Mighty Kevin in HTP.

He also has an extensive past in the RPG liveplay scene, playing characters such as the Inquisitorial Acolyte Reeb Van Horne in Narrative Declaration's WarHams (Wrath & Glory) and the Terrorist Alchemist Baldric Weathers in Rotgrind (Pathfinder).

You might also recognise him from RIGHT HERE if you've read past Updates, as he regularly crops up here to help out with Updates!

Earndil joins us as the player in the third of four Awakenings, where we follow aspiring basketball star Samson Tuttle in his quest to be the best to ever ball. Unfortunately, his goals are mired by trauma, harrassment, nepotism and, most annoying of all, wizardry.

How could one possibly dunk that ball when all the world does is dunk on you?

The Awakening of Parker Knickerbocker!

Our fourth and final player is none other than the boy himself, Fredrik Knudsen.

Fredrik Knudsen is primarily known for work on his own channel, Down the Rabbit Hole.

We've been friends since, like, 2016 or something before he exploded and far exceeded us in our pitiful little hole. But he's made time for us which we are immensely thankful for, especially since he has been a fucking joy to play with, and pulls some shit in this first session that our GM did not expect at all, entirely derailing his initial idea for how this was likely to go down, which is EXACTLY what we want out of our players for this game.

In the fourth and final Awakening, Fredrik plays the tense, put-upon Parker Knickerbocker, a hopeful archeologist stuck running a dusty antique store owned by his old, sausage-loving father, with no hope of following his dreams.

On this day however, an eccentric customer enters the shop to lead Parker into affairs that will unearth within him a clandestine cruelty, and the start to the greatest collection you will ever see...

Hopefully, your interest has been sparked if itit hadn't been before.

Eventually, these will also go up on YouTube proper!

We just want to finish the visuals for each episode before we release them.

We also want to make sure that Chapter 1 of Norfolk Wizard Game has had its audio finished so we're ahead of schedule.

And, finally, we also wish to have finished and released Chapter 4 of Hunter: The Parenting so Norfolk Wizard Game can ride the wave created by that release. They do take place in the same universe, after all, and the chances of these two stories somehow colliding in the future is something I would call inevitable.

Speaking of which, let's talk HTP for a bit!

HUNTER: THE PARENTING UPDATE

Quicker update on HTP!

Work is progressing smoothly.

I've finally escaped rigging purgatory (setting up fullbody artwork for use throughout the episode over and over and over and over and over...) and have FINALLY started to help animate the episode myself, which is... just such a relief, fuck.

Our most proficient animation ogre, Karl, been smashing his head against this work for far longer and has produced some absolute fucking banger shots out of the stellar work our illustators have produced so far for this Chapter.

It's going to be at the same level as HLZV EP2 was in terms of quality I'd say, but with the deep, dark, moody atmosphere of a dusty old mansion full of dark academia.

I am very happy with it so far, very very much so.

... I think we're limiting ourselves to that for now.

We'll likely share some tastier previews of Chapter 4 next time to really show you that we are, in fact, working on it and that it does, in fact, look good.
