Anyone who has followed us for any period of time knows that as a fan group that produces animations and content, we mingle with a great many talented, and diverse people who share our hobbies and interests. What comes with this mingling is the implicit hope that everyone we work with is of at the very least passable moral fibre. We have been proven wrong, on more than one occasion, and that the individuals we have interacted with and collaborated with turned out to be far below our acceptable standards. We do not pry into people's lives, and as such we tend to get blindsided by information that simply rears up out of the dark, lashing out at everyone they've interacted with.
This regards Stringstorm, an audio engineer whom we have worked with, collaborated with on projects, and commissioned for music and audio work. Stringstorm recently (as in, within an hour of writing this) a video wherein he discusses his malfeasance in regards to sexually predatory, and manipulative behavior directed at a minor.
We will be up front and say that this is flat out unacceptable.
Coming from this position, we are immensely hurt by this revalation, and appalled that it transpired at all. Stringstorm appears to have left all O.P. and Alfabusa related production discord servers the literal minute the video went up, but were we aware of it any sooner than the rest of the world, he would not have remained.
Years of collaboration that can now only be looked upon with disdain, and frustration, are what we're left with. When we work with individuals on any project we take on a massive risk, that everyone involved will behave themselves, and not do anything to tarnish the reputations of anyone involved or, more importantly, hurt others.
As such, this is a massive breach of trust, and we are looking into what to do from here.
Whatever Stringstorm needs to do for himself to make amends, atone, or whatever is appropriate, he should do. To assert otherwise is pointless. However he will be doing so away from us.
This is, as of right now, our statement on the matter. We know no more than any of you, and while we would prefer having details, we do not, as of writing. The video was just as much of an ambush for us as it was for any of his fans.
Please be patient, and understanding with us as we consider the way forward.

As a Patron, I stand with you and feel the same as you on what you said: when we, Patrons or you Producers, take the decision to support any given work we do so under the impression and assumption that the other side has at least an acceptable moral fiber. Take your time, and try to wrap your mind around the sad fact that this is a situation that could have happened to anyone. What you do regarding this situation from now on is what matters.
