Update 08/12 - Things are a bit SLOW at the moment

Sincere apologies if we've kept you waiting!
Between some lengthy but well deserved vacation for one of our lead animators, Karl, and little baby Hjalmar entering into the phase of his growth where he is now optimized to deprive Alfabusa of sleep, things have been crazy!

Alfabusa:
ACCURATE.
I've been taking care of Hjalmar full-time as Hjalmar's mother is working herself, and so, I am spending the majority of the day's hours with him, not with work, and I will admit that I have not neccesarily been married to doing just work during my non-Hjalmar hours...
I'm waiting 'til September for Hjalmar to start his first days in preschool.
That is when I can start working properly again myself.
Until then, I will have to settle for the days Hjalmar's mother isn't working at all, and just doing as much as possible on those days.

But, yeah, between me, Karl being on vacation adventures, some of our illustrators doing the same, and lead artist and fellow animator Garrot moving places from 8 hours away from my place to 15 minutes away from my place, immediately within neck-slapping distance.
Suffice to say, we are definitely in a bottleneck-period right now.
But it is not to last much longer.

SpeakerD:
Yes, I hate to say things are slower than we forecast, but don't lose hope! For word on the street is that even despite Karl's absence, animation is churning along for Zero Viscosity Episode 1! More than that, a fair amount of art is being produced for Episode 2!

Some of you Tier Fivers and beyond hanging around the Patreon discord have also likely spied some sneaky slides for the upcoming Hunter: The Parenting audiodrama, which features fair Marckus and his friend group at a pub!
What could go wrong?
Well, Marckus is involved, so most things.
But oooh, I bet the suspense is killing you. DON'T LET IT.
You have so much to live for!

For instance, Rotgrind's very own Odoroshi making her voice acting debut as the ever-weeb herself, Grimal! I'd say 'sugoi' but I don't think I could handle that much genki right now. You can say it for me.

Alfabusa:
Prepare yourselves for the most reviled character in the series so far and it is all SpeakerD's fault.

SpeakerD:
Meanwhile, the rest of us have been hard at work!
Doing what exactly?
Well gosh, don't put me on the spot.

Alfabusa:

SpeakerD:
Okay fine, you've pried it out of me.
We're presenting working on our first non-animated piece-- a bit of an 'introduction to World of Darkness' so to speak.

A mix of a video essay and a brief primer, written and narrated by yours truly.
No, it's not exactly as exciting as a full on episode.
BUT, for both Warhammer and WoD, we've gotten TONS of comments, always wanting to know more about the setting.

We figure trying something like this could help directly guide our audience along, in addition to our other videos!
And if it turns out not being the kinda thing you guys are into, hey, no big loss!
It's a lot easier to produce than even the meekest Episode, so the thinking goes.
If you guys love it, there could be more like it in store!

Additionally, Earndil and his dark abettors (most especially Rude Rubicante) have been hard at work on our most secret dark project. What is it? A portal to the realm of the dead? A directors cut of the Zapruder film? That much, we'll keep under wraps. But let's just say we're exploring some uncharted territory assuming Zero Viscosity is successful...

SO, I want to make a note here that with the general sluggishness of production in especially this week, I do want to make a new Update again NEXT WEEK and tell you what we've managed with what I think will be the glorious return of Karl AND a week where I can actually work because Hjalmar's mother has a few days off in a row! Holy shit!!!

I am very, very excited.
