Update 10/29 - Showing Off The New "TTS-Style" Animation

I want to first off apologize for not interacting more here on Patreon and not answering posts more often.
I have a tendency to post these at the end of the work day on Fridays and then I do not go back to the computer at all during the weekend and then by Monday I have entirely forgotten about the post and all the comments left on it.
Just let it be known that I read all of them and you are exceptionally kind caring about my brain deteriorating after the cavalcade of constant curses that was two weeks ago.
As thanks I will now proceed to answer every single comment on this particular post starting Monday even if there is nothing of substance to respond to (this will not go well).
Alright anyway, onto The Juice...
Video
First off, the animation depicted above...
This is a WIP clip ripped from the start of the first episode.
It is very obviously not done, it doesn't even have a background and its full of god damn photoshop artifacts (the white little specks) that I must please beg you to ignore, but here you can actually see some of the more classic animation, as we did in TTS, done in our new project.
This will then mesh with the motion comic style in a way that both probably feels more interesting whilst hopefully not alienating you by being way too different.
You can also see some proper character interaction...
For context, this series, Hunter: The Parenting, takes place in the year 2006 in the county of Norfolk, UK, the family of main characters living just outside the township of Warham (look it up).
This means we will ONLY reference things from 2006 or earlier and probably things more relevant to the UK and Norfolk in particular.
Kitten and Marckus, as a couple, are incredibly hyped for the release of Team Fortress 2, Door is a staunch hater of the Queen and british bacon purely on principle, Boy just wants to play Halo 2 Deathmatch and Big-D is fucked he probably doesn't even know what year it is.
If you have any things from 2006 that we can make funny references to, especially if they're British, ESPECIALLY if they're relevant to Norfolk, ESPECIALLY if they are FUNNY, please post them here and we may use them for, like, world-building or something.
General Progress
As has been screamed about time and time again, things are still genuinely going well. The episode IS unfortunately going to be 28 minutes long which is what we DIDN'T WANT, but we've made significant progress on it, it looks better than anything I've ever worked on in my personal opinion and we know for a fact that the two episodes that follow this pilot will be shorter and more in-line with what we actually want for episode length.
The current prime worry is figuring out what the turn-over time actually will be.
Whilst we were very optimistic about our circular slot schedule mentioned in our previous updates initially, we currently do not really know exactly how long an episode will take to make and thus we have a hard time entirely dedicating ourselves to it just in case it would literally take a year to get back to any given series with that kind of schedule.
I know for a fact that you are one of the most patient viewerbases ever, but even I do not think you can consistently wait a full year to get back to any given series due to the fact that we're working on three different projects at once, with three episodes planned for each slot in the rotation, with perhaps a two month wait between each episode.
We do still want this to work, we REALLY do, we want the release times to be shorter, because we do not want to lock ourselves down once again to a single setting, and there are some projects here we desperately want to work on because they'd be so much fun to do.
In the end, its about balancing our creative freedom, turn-over time and viewer retention. It's not easy, but as soon as we have at least two episodes out, we will know better if this rotating format is what we should go for or not.
The one thing we know is that Hunter: The Parenting will NOT be our only thing, it cannot be.
I'll tell you as soon as we've come to a decision, of course.
Otherwise, we're actually working on releasing an Update Video on YouTube soon enough going into a lot of stuff I've covered here on Patreon, perhaps even some extra stuff I haven't talked about here yet.
Also due to popular demand I have attached a shitty phone picture of the GOBLIN CRIMINAL who FUCCKED UP my LEGS last update.
Her name is Buffy and she loves biting hands very softly and dragging her shitted ass on things causing environmental damage to my baby son (his immune system will be EXTREMELY powerful).

Vulgan's body just turns up somewhere different every episode. Nobody moves it, nobody touches it, it's just always there. Corvin Clorax hangs out at the local coffee shop writing depressing poetry and badgering people about how they should boycott Amazon for it's horrible working conditions. Later in the series he tries to organize a general strike of Amazon employees and ends up on the run from Bezos's army of killer union-busting robots.

I also remember the hype in tech news about the iphone in development and thinking it would NEVER replace the flip phones. Blogging was still HUGE, and everyone I knew had a LiveJournal. Oh yeah, and white wolf released 2nd Edition of the Exalted RPG in 2006.

Also with regard to 2006 things I feel like you should really stress how far technology has come like I remember in 2006 I was fascinated that you could watch early YouTube videos on a PSP.
