I'm so happy to hear the news! We love y'all and I'm elated that you're staying in the game. As for other settings, you should absolutely look into Battletech as a setting worth exploring. I would love you to reach out to Tex of the Black Pants Legion - he's a beloved loremaster / pillar of that space. His Ken Burns style Battletech documentaries are things of legend. He could also probably use a friendly face & sympathetic ear, having accidentally stepped on the Arch Warhammer landmine. Anyway - totally worth your time! Thanks for everything!

Or how about a TTS mod for the Total War Warhammer games? We could have “The Gorger Lord” tribune as a character for the existing Orge mercenaries, or wait until if/when the third game introduces the ogres as a full faction. Maybe even create an entire sub-faction and campign around him as he stalks all the world for a means to return to the imperial palace, with his newfound faction and possessions of worth as well. The reward could even be resources from terra itself from a two way connection and a new mission from the man-emperor himself to take over the old world by any means he deems fit.

And if you feel the need to further distance the characters from the source material, just try something a bit cheeky and change their names and color palates, maybe stick some new hair on them. Change Russ’s armor color to a mix of imperial fist yellow and blood angel red and BOOM: “Lemon Rose”. Or take Rogal Dorn, change his color palate to include a shade of emperors children purple, give Dorn fulgrims white flowing hair (and change his mustache accordingly) and he’s reborn as “Regal Dong”…. I’m just spitballing here, I just REFUSE to concede defeat so easily in the face of recent events. There HAS to be a subtle workaround that can slip under the radar for the next while before GW reverses course, if they ever get the sense to do so knocked into them.

💡 If I may make a suggestion, have you considered using the TTS characters as those newfangled Hololive avatars or whatever? I had seen Stringstorm use the Nurgle and Tzeench idols for just such a purpose out of the blue one day, and I don’t see how such a thing should be a real problem. It’s not like it’s anything that really clashes with the new IP guidelines. You could have all the actors play the games in-character, and they’d play games based on their shown history and personality. The Captain General could play just about anything because he is THE 40K KING OF GAMES, Rogal Dorn would play anything that revolves around building and maintaining (Sim City, Civilization, Fortnite (fort is literally in the name, he’d definitely at least consider it), Minecraft, Halo’s forge mode, ect… Russ could Rip And Tear through hyper violent shooters and melee games, like DOOM and God of War… Just little something somethings to keep the character writing sharp while this GW mess sorts itself out. Perhaps we could even start with Stelaris, after the collaborative special you did in the past with them?

Like many others, I've been a fan of TTS for many years, and like you said, I do see your content akin to that of like teamfourstar. I figure I should throw my hat into the ring, with everyone chiming up about how TTS has effected them over the years. I discovered it around episode 10 or so, and it has been the highlight of my youtube time. Whenever a new episode hit, I was glued. I forget what episode it was that released the day 8th edition dropped, but I remember gearing up in my Space Marine cosplay armor to go to a midnight pickup of our pre-order at our Local Game Store - while marathoning the episodes to lead up to the "Big reveal" of the newest episode. I saw the views on the videos, and thought to myself "They're doing alright", lulling myself into this feeling that it will always be there. I haven't been doing great financially the last couple years, and cut my Patreons down to just what I wasn't willing to buy later or wait a few weeks to get content. So when I watched the video (you all know what one) - I immediately said "I can at least cover 1-2 people leaving". What I didn't expect, and I'm sure Alfabusa didn't either - was to find an amazing community coming together to back him in this time. The community outpouring here is a testament to the fans and the love we have for our own. So I'm here to say - suck it up Alfabusa. ~record screech sound goes here~ If you didn't want all our attention and money, you shouldn't have been so God Damn Epic. You brought this outpouring on yourself, with your geeky game dark sense of humor and animations. When I have a little more to spend, I want to up to get Discord access - because that seems like it would be a trip right now. And there's less then $4k USD (I'm not converting that figure - you all can go look at it if you want) until stretch goal of paying a team to make everything - lets push on to that. And only $42,928,991.93 to go until Alfa can buy GW and be the change we all want to see in the company. (Also, congrats on being a Dad. Try to get some sleep - cause I know for a fact you must be sleep deprived due to ~motions hands randomly to signify everything~)

I sincerely hope your supporters don't drop off after a month or two, so I have subbed for a year because you brought something to the hobby no one else could have. Seeing Kitten in the last episode to ever release genuinely made me very emotional - a very tiny reaction compared to your own grief and stress over this shit storm I'm sure. I will say that i am currently going over a massive binge rewatch of both a lot of the TTS stuff and a lot of your far off past videos. I gotta admit that funny enough I found your account in two points in my life: at one point when I was just graduating High School and I came across some of the Boreale cast episodes. And again later with the TTS series. It's funny, I have vivid memories of nearly every time I've done some binge watch of the series at this point too. It's how you create plotlines, and how you turn ridiculous situations into an endearing and captivating narrative. It's meant to be humorous yet it achieves so much more. What is loyalty when it is not tested in these hard times!? No in all seriousness, you've done nothing but make us laugh and been that comfort show for so many. When I first got into Warhammer I had a horrible time with people demanding I take it serious and demanding I view it in a specific way. TTS helped me feel welcome into a terrifying franchise with 40 years of lore that's so fucking imposing to get into. I know I am not the only one, TTS is that comfort show and TTS is that thing that made Warhammer approachable for me and so many others. Obviously I'd love to have it back, but I am gonna support ya no matter what after all the good shit you've done for me and so many.

The idea of Alfabusa and his team simply diversifying the IPs they do work from makes a lot of sense. It means that even if GW goes after them, they're mostly safe. And it means that potentially, they could continue TTS as a non-profit "hobby project" that would be safe even under GW's insane rules while the *rest* of their projects (having become the majority of their production) are their for-profit projects, justifying the Patreon on their own.

TTS has become a comfort show for me. Guardsmen, Astaries and TTS was all things that really got me into Warhammer. I wanted to cry when I heard that it was going to be shelved indefinitely. I completely understand your reasoning though. I can't wait to see what you do in the future. I know I only give a $1 but it's all I can for now.

I cannot imagine the level of anxiety this week has given you (but as a very anxious person, I can sure as shit empathize with it), but I'm glad to join in on helping alleviate that anxiety. I was playing Vermintide 2, where the characters were exploring the Chaos Wastes, when one of them asked how this area where God's fought was formed. And one of the characters popped up with "Frogs. Heard it was Frogs", and that makes me think back to this show, so much. Was late to joining, but the work made was an artful way of melding story and progress in the universe in a way games workshop never could

Just finished reading, thank you so much for the update! TTS has been "that thing" for so long and I can't wait to see what new franchises you expand into, but don't forget to also take care of yourself and not burn out working 150%!!!!
