Ay! I'm sorry about the disappointment. While I'm unsure how the take did stray this time around, I'll try my best to make the next episode funnier and different. Just to try to rationalise the actions you didn't like, I can tell you that the Dorn/Sigismund thing I actually wanted to save for later. If I get it the way I want, this isn't the last time we will be talking Black Templars. This episode has more to do with covering the base-line of their structure and to introduce their flanderized edition into the TTSverse proper. While I am unsure what you mean by 'captain sweden-tier', the rationale behind the "hate bad, diversity good" tangent was kind of explained in the episode though, I think? I hope? Basically, stop killing mutants, kill more xenos/heretics instead. It's only natural for one like the Emperor to think in the grand scheme and, in the grand scheme, mutants serve an actual purpose in favour of humanity if used correctly. Killing them is a waste of ammo unless they actually pose a threat, which they do not neccesarily do. Yeah, that's pretty much it. Next time we're covering a VERY different beast, and hopefully you'll like it better!

Sorry bruva, but this episode was a HUGE wasted opportunity. Instead of digging into the lore (e.g. why was Dorn pissed at Sigismund and why the BT's worship the Emperor as a god), you went off on a Captain Sweden-tier "Hate bad, diversity good" tangent. I'm loving the podcast more every episode. It was informative and funny at the same time, character development is going excellent and the part that all of them was "arguing" was geniunely disturbing to listen. Thank you for your content Alfabusa.

Although this one had more of a crazy batshit vibe going for it, Emp's grasp on the loyalty of even his staunchest followers is getting seriously taxed. He's gotta do something fast to grant himself actual credibility, be it growing beyond his 'I am infallible' shell and embracing growth from past mistakes or just seriously winning one for Team Humanity without horrible mass casualties to justify his grandiose larger than life persona. It's most notable in Custodici's blatant and hardly defiable anti-Emperor statements, having gone so far as to call him a 'corpse', echoing the sentiment of many a Choas worshippers... and Whamudes' increased genocidal desires against the normals is just as if not more worrisome. Maybe they need to go on a BROTRIP!?
