The solution is a painful one, and that is to drastically chop the number of pledges I support and clearly state that I'm doing so because of the proposed changes. It's important that Patreon knows *why* it's losing money.

I'm happy I'm at the top of your tier. But yeah, it is, but unfortunately, the main bulk of a creator's donations ARE $1 donations. This will effectively kill the $1 donation, which is very worrisome.

It didn't even occur to me that we'd be charged by HOW MANY people we support :/ You're top tier, mate, so even if I have to cut back, it's so I can keep supporting you. Power axe, power maul, power sword, power fist, and power wallet. To be honest, it's an incentive for people to do higher tiers on fewer people, which may be what Patreon wants since it means they have the same amount of money coming in, but with fewer creators and thus fewer transactions. Dirty, but economically it makes sense.

I'll shift to whatever service you choose, and a couple of bucks won't stop me from pledging my share, but please do not give up just yet. Actually, is it legal to gather support using two services at once? So that people who are not okay with the fee but would still like to support you at whatever amount is possible for them have a choice.
