In general, I think colored text adds to a character's personality and makes speech lines easier to track. It also creates the possibility of occasionally writing something without a bubble, and the reader still knows who's speaking. But it can also make reading a bit worse, so idk... Right now, the color choice is kind of a salad. Like, Ann's color is based on her personality, Bea's purple was based on her original outfit choices, and now we have Iris (Bea's metalhead friend) whose speech color is based on her hair Lol....

I think it's best to decide based on how big of an role they play in the story and what the color adds to their image. Usually (in this kind of comic :p) i see the colours used solely to indicate that the voice of the mc has changed over time. With everyone else just using black lettering. But I liked that you made it more intergrated in the world by having other characters also use colours. Maybe you could have the men use more muted colours. Or even better, match colors to personality rather then sex or gender. So a dull female accountant could be grey to black while an upbeat vibrant male cheerleader could have something bright. So nothing conclusive here ^^" just throwing out my thoughts
