Slow but unsteady.
Mostly background details left. Then I can start inking. And do the title design while Sarah starts on the color work. Behind on so many things right now, it'll be a relief to have this off my hands so production can get started.
I also don't know what the hell was supposed to go in the word balloons for Milk & Cheese. I wrote it somewhere and have completely forgotten what the line was. I might have erased it from the side or top of the board. Ha ha on me. Something else will come to mind while I'm working on it. It could just be a skull and an exclamation mark at this point. Or I'll look through my notes for unused catch phrases. Or use an old one.
Arm's acting up pretty badly lately. It's generally okay when I'm at rest, which is an improvement. But if I'm working, it hurts and my hand gets unsteady. My hand doctor has brought up the idea of carpal tunnel release surgery. I'm not necessarily opposed to it, but I can't take the time off needed to do it and sit for a while. I'm slapping Salonpas on again (econo-pack from Costco, yee-ha) and am wearing a "copper compression" glove while I work. So far the glove's been of some help, it's thin, fingerless and constricts the hand some, but I can draw while wearing it. It is what it is.
More soon, later.
