Sketches And Stuff
Added 2024-09-16 00:31:01 +0000 UTCWe're back in the house as of Friday. Still have a lot of cleaning and sanitizing to do. Tomorrow we find out what the repairs are going to cost and how much we'll owe my folks, who are fronting us the money. Then the fight with the insurance company begins. Everyone's very tired and the house is a mess. The shower is full of clay and dirt, but not sewage as we first thought, so, that's a relief. Unfortunately, there's so much dirt and grit around that inky is whizzing on the floors downstairs and that's been an added headache. Hopefully she'll quit the outdoor cat crap once everything's mopped up and done. She's also knocking boxes over and scratching at luggage and knocking things off tables and shelves. She's all worked up, I guess she's pretty stressed out like the rest of us.
Yesterday I went to my pain management doctor and got another series of trigger point injections in my neck and shoulder. I'm sore as heck now while that heals up and I'm eating pills like candy. Spending the day cleaning a little and slowly packing up some book orders. There's three Beasts of Burden hardcovers left to work on, I should have all the orders out later this week and at least that will be caught up.
