Added 2023-12-23 01:37:37 +0000 UTCFinished raw inks. Definitely some things I would change if I could, there's one major section that is a patch, but it worked out mostly okay in the end. I overworked the halo texturing, it's not as wiry and sinuous as I had it in the pencils. I tend to always overdo crosshatching/texturing sections. Making those kinds of marks on paper is a pleasurable activity, foe one thing, for another, I tend to micromanage those sections badly and usually get very intense about evening up the density of one section to another. Which means I go over every section and don't stop until it's all muddy. I don't think much of this work is even going to show in the finished cover, so, there's another reason to not stress these things. I didn't need to even the sections out at the edges of the paper, but my brain told me to do it anyway. Buzz buzz buzz.

Aw, this is fuckin’ great. The denser background texture really makes the white space radiate outwards, which I personally dig more than the sparser pencils. More commotion.
