Hacktober Halloween Index Card Drawings #16-29

These bring the Hacktober index card drawings up to date, including the two I got done last week. When things settle a bit I might try to knock out a final two to finally complete the 2021 batch.

As mentioned in the previous Hacktober art dump, you can see where my original plan -- to just draw very sketchy, barely rendered figures with minimal-to-no backgrounds -- really went out the window by the time I hit this batch. Oh, well. I still had fun with these. There's about six or seven I screwed up and might redraw some time, and a few I started as loose penciled forms but never got any further on with.  Eventually I hope to go back to these and the larger Halloween pieces I was doing. I would like to make a zine out of these pieces with commentary on the movies that the characters are from. But I doubt that'll happen.

One day I'll catch up to everything. I really hope so. Or something close to catching up. I doubt anyone ever catches up. if anyone does, I'm jealous as all get out.

I love that monster. I would like to draw it sometime.

And if you decide to do more than 31, I nominate the upside down ice cream cone from It Conquered the World. I don't think you've tackled this wonder.

I know enough of these to not be proud. I realized a bit ago, back when I was little and it came out on VHS, I saw It Came From Hollywood, a snarky look at b-movies based The Golden Turkeys and it really ruined me for life. I love so many goofball monster movies. Please the Hideous Sun Demon.
