Milk & Cheese x Cthulhu Commission Inks

Slowly walking four commissions towards final inks. This one crossed the line first. Went a little stupid on the details and textures, even more than usual, but I am pretty darned pleased with it. I'm thinking of making this one a print for the print tier, folks at that level can chime in and let me know if they'd like it uploaded. I'll have to scan it at a higher resolution before I go to colors on it.

Two things slowing down my drawing these days. One, my arm. Two, my cat. Winky loves biting pens. Especially when I'm drawing or writing with them. This has gotten completely out of hand. She scrambles onto my drawing board, even though it's tilted at an angle. occasionally she slides off. There's cat hair all over my board, my art supplies, my hands, because she shoves herself into everything to bite and rub up against the pens. And rulers. And art brush. And triangle. She's a nut job. She also likes to bite eyeglasses. Does anyone else's cat do this sort of thing? it's adorable, but some nights it gets exasperating.

I can't get mad at this little girl, though.

Speaking of Winky, she's definitely going to appear in Beasts of Burden as a member of the Swifties cat gang. I've been nosing the script along for the first issue of the next series. It's a cat-centric issue and a bit of a jumping on point, although most of the Beasts stories have been pretty well contained. Dogs. Cats. They fight evil. But it's been a good while since our last series, and longer still since we concentrated on the main storyline in Burden Hill, so the next script will catch things up on the situation and cement where things stand. And there will be a cat wake.

I'm probably going to call Winky's character "Blinky" because I hope, one day, to do a dedicated comic about Winky the Pirate Cat. If she'll let me draw without biting everything. Silly baby.

I'd love to see you do a print of the Cthulhu commission for that tier.

Spectacular work!!! I’ve loved seeing it develop. I also have a lovable pet with barely tolerable habits, so I can relate. Good old Winky. ❤️
