The WFMU fundraiser marathon has begun! Which means there's a week and half left for folks to get the 2012 Dance With Me Stanley X Milk & Cheese t-shirt. A $75 pledge during DJ Stashu's show this Friday at 6 - 7 P.M. EST -- gets you the DJ premium t-shirt.
Listen online at https://wfmu.org and call in or donate through https://wfmu.org during the show.
You can also donate online any time at wfmu.org, just mark your donation for DJ Stashu/Dance With Me Stanley and pick the shirt from the DJ premium list.
You can find Stashu's archived playlist page here: https://wfmu.org/playlists/YN
FYI: This M&C shirt design will be exclusive to Stashu's show and will not be made available in any way other than raising funds for WFMU.
I'll try to remember to plug the shirt again in time for Stashu's second and final marathon show.

WHAT FRESH DAIRY HELL IS THIS? (TAKE 2):

Soon, I will tell you.
WINDSHIELD, SMASH!
Those following my IG or Twitter feeds saw the aftermath of my car's hood flipping up on the highway and smashing the windshield the other day. It was scary shit but luckily I wasn't hurt and got the car safely to the side of the highway and was even able to go to therapy. Gave me something to open the session with, that's for sure (Not panicking, showing progress!). After I picked Sarah up from the ferry and got home the adrenaline dissipated and I fell asleep for a looong time. Tuesday was a sort of zombie layover day. I don't remember yesterday, mostly e-mails and filling out forms and packing up art. I ate Entenmann's donuts for lunch and dinner. And a yogurt. I heard the head of Entenmann's died this week. Maybe I dreamed it. His coffin should be a big mock up of an Entenmann's box with a plexiglass window and an expiration date.
BTW, art shipments and the last three Hacktober envelopes will go out later this week or on Monday. I haven't wanted to take the car out with the windshield all cracked up and creaky. Especially while it's raining/snowing.
The glass repair technician shows up tomorrow, possibly as early as 8:30 a.m., which is the only time they had this week. I usually go to sleep an hour or two before to 8:30 a.m. so that's a bit of a goocher, but the car's got to be fixed to get Sarah back and forth to the ferry for her hospital appointments. She's had multiple trips into Manhattan for various tests and the like, prepping for a prolonged schedule of radiation treatments. Compared to all that she's been going through, having to get up super early (for me) (once) isn't exactly something to complain about. I'm just worried I'll sleep through the alarm. I did it today, trying to stagger my sleep for tomorrow. Hmmm.
Also, the turn signals on the car seem to have stopped working. Gah.
Anyway.
More soon later.
