Aaargh.

I just spent an hour on a post and lost it.  Thought I posted it, left the page, aargh.

I'm a downy clowny.

Two things I'll mention before I throw myself down the basement stairs --  I was hoping to post some old comics for folks to read while things are a mess, but they're on Sarah's computer, which died last week. Her folks bought her a replacement, which was really nice of them. Unfortunately, the old computer refuses to give up its secrets for the time being, and retrieving stuff isn't a top priority while we have deadlines. On top of everything, Sarah's old tablet won't work with the new computer, so she'll have to color the cover we're working on with a mouse like ye olde times. Ugh. It could be worse.

Also, I was planning to start doing some live-streaming stuff, which Sarah got all set up. Then I remembered my webcam isn't working. Whoops. We have one on order (FYI - webcam prices are being jacked up by some profiteering cretins, avoid them like the...well, you know.) but I don't know when it might show up. But when it arrives, I hope to be able to do some chat/live drawing if anyone's interested in that sort of thing. It was going to be for higher-level backers, but while everyone's stuck home it'll be for everyone on the Patreon.

Thanks for being here, by the way. Sorry I haven't posted as much as I'd like (and dumping the post tonight, aargh). I'm not doing very well, health-wise (nothing related to the situation, just pain from the fall, the usual bad arm/hand, a bad patch of depression I'm having trouble getting past), and work has been difficult. I wish I could let folks know what I've been working on, I think it would be a bit of a boost. Hopefully soon.

Be back soon. Can't believe I lost the stupid post.

Above image: Self portrait commission I did a while back. Sarah hates it, so I haven't posted it since I did it (iirc). But it sums up my mental state pretty well right now, so, there you go. Whee.

Aaargh.

Good to hear from you and hope you and your family stay safe. Looking forward to the livestreams when they happen!

Sorry to hear about all this. Regarding the data on Sarah's old laptop, let me know if I can help, I am always fixing and upgrading my machines. First thing that comes to mind is removing the hard drive from the old laptop and connecting it to one of these https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-10Gbps-Adapter-Cable-Drives/dp/B00XLAZODE/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=usb+hard+drive+harness&qid=1584886115&sr=8-3
