Duke and Mage were in a vast field, the largest monument within their sights was a castle up ahead. The Dreamscape simulation allowed them to go to other worlds, but it also had the ability to change their form, and the world they were in was inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, so naturally, they chose their favorite animals.

Mage never liked that her magic couldn't work in the Dreamscape. It was here that Duke's technology held more power and potential to spread mischief. Her rabbit form carried the advantage that she could run faster than Duke could, and taking her chance, she snatched Duke's expansion beam and bolted towards the castle. She broke in, and began firing at two individuals playing badminton.

The Vixen, Maid Marian, couldn't see Mage from inside the large bush near the castle walls, and the hen, Lady Kluck, was too preoccupied trying to keep Maid Marian from floating away. By the time the two were too high up to stop Mage, Duke burst through the gate and snatched the expansion beam away!
