Status update
Added 2022-03-31 17:10:29 +0000 UTCIt’s taking longer than expected to create the next release in Ren’py. Going forward I will aim to create the relevant scenes in Ren’py once I’m satisfied with the renders for each scene rather than leave all the Ren’py stuff to the end.
I’m adding some disabled choices options. This is where a choice is dependent on an earlier action or relevant relationship stats. The idea is for you to see some impact of your choices and possible options for replay.
This change introduces a minor issue if you’ve saved with a choice screen displayed in version 1. This results in you seeing several blank choices. If you pick one of these the game will usually assume you’ve picked the first choice.
The fix is simple enough, either don’t pick a blank option or roll back one screen and the menu will work correctly.
Scene order
Opening scene with Mom. The will the result of you buying the groceries or not.
You then have a choice to visit the Mall or Cooper’s house then the Mall.
There are 7 scenes in the Mall.
On Easy mode, you can do all 7 scenes, even if you do Cooper’s scene first.
On Normal, you can do all 7 scenes, but only 6 scenes if you do Cooper’s first.
On Hard, it’s 6 scenes, or 5 if you do Cooper’s first.
There are 3 scenes for the afternoon. You can only do 1 scene and it might be automatically selected based on earlier choices.
In the evening there is 1 scene.
At the end of the day you’re back in the bedroom free roam where you look at any images you’ve acquired, check stats, etc…
