MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
Hello all you fine folks!
First of all sorry for the delay in posting, but I'm very excited to finally showcase my latest foray into mapbuilding content. Converting my illustrations into assets for DungeonDraft and reassembling them so that users wont just be able to customize the maps I'll upload from now on, but also build their own one the fly . This is something I have been wanting to do for years, as some of you may know and what I had planned for DungeonDraw to become.
With the first pack I've finished so far I've made 10 maps to go, which I'm uploading and updating after I finish this post including the saved DungeonDraft files and the asset packs to go along with them.
The big delay was mainly spent making the leap, rebuilding and redesinging a bunch of my work. From now on I plan on not just staying on the schedule as planned, but with the software to aid me, I can provide a lot more to boot.
WEBSITE
I also want to start making my content a lot more accessible, I've also decided to add a patron spot on the www.crossheadstudios.com website. For now it's only accessible for +5$ users (patrons who will be able to download my dungeondraft packs) and save files. I might take the time to create a standard patreon page as well.

This includes a spot where users can upload their own creations as well and share them, including sharing their dungeondraft save files if they'd like.

DISCORD
I've spend most of my time the past month and a half working nonstop on the first step of moving over to DungeonDraft. Leaving my communication to an all time low. From now on however the word is out, and I'm beyond the testing phase, able to create content on a more steady basis. I plan on taking more time keeping in touch about what I'm working on from now, posting updates more often on the discord channel especially. Take more time on the suggestion pages as well, as I plan on running more polls to tailor my content again.
PROCESS
Converting my content took some trial and error. Here are some examples of the assets packs I've made over the past month to finally be able to build the one in the showcase video.

STEP ONE
My first attempt at converting illustrations to DungeonDraft. I spent most of my time taking inspiration from handpainted art.

STEP FIVE
Along the way I added more and more linework back to my designs and came to the realization that I couldn't really pull it together just yet so focused on turning it down a bit more and starting over.

STEP TEN
Mixing the old with the new this final version felt most natural when it come to drawing art. I only finished this version a week ago and already made 10 maps in the mean time. From now on it'll just be deciding where the go next, feel free to leave comments and I'll do a poll. My ideas were mainly focused on doing buildings (maybe castles or just a village themed set).
FINAL WORDS
I would love to hear your feedback. Hear what you'd like me to work on next. This first pack is very basic, but the possibilities are endless really. I can do dungeon packs, do siege content, castles, etc. Leave a comment, I'll do a poll about it and I can get started on the next one.
I'm currently uploading, updating everything, so you should be able to access the new maps, the packs the save files etc... later today.
Kind regards,
Bert | Crosshead
