I have always loved this movie, and it was a great reaction, but I always wonder why some people try to predict what is going to happen instead of letting the story take you on the ride. It feels like trying to outsmart the script, or spoil a magic trick. I guess I do the same thing with comedy though, esp if I don't have respect for the comedian or movie - if I can guess a punchline, then it isn't a very good joke. I guess I just hate spoilers so much that I don't want to even potentially spoil it for myself. LOL.

I graduated high school in 1983 and I saw that when it first came out and it was better today.

Wow, I never heard of this movie, which is a common theme for me on here, but I thought this was great. I now want to read the novel which I have also not heard of.

A fun fact that some people may not notice is that, at the end, when Stillson uses Sarah's baby as a human shield, the photographer taking pictures is played by Martin Sheen's son, Ramon Estevez.
Another interesting trivia note is that, before his accient, the last thing Johnny assigns his students to read is "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," and Christopher Walken later played the Headless Horseman in "Sleepy Hollow."

Poor Johnny..loses everything and still saves the world. Too bad we don't have any Johnny Smiths running around in the world today

I've been waiting for someone to react to this. I have this on Blu-ray, as I do most Stephen King movies, and it's one of my favorites. I really enjoyed this reaction, and as always, Coby has the movie figured out from the beginning. Of course, her husband's going to be the killer, too funny. I'm always up for any Stephen King adaptation: The Shawshank Redemption (1994), The Green Mile (1999), Misery (2007), Stand By Me (1986), The Mist (1990), Silver Bullet (1985), The Shining (1980), Creepshow (1982), Gerald's Game (2017), and Salem's Lot (1979) are all among my favorites.

I saw this when it first came out in the 80's but definitely relevant given the times in which we live today!
