ANIMAL HOUSE (1978) - Full Watch Along

TOGA! TOGA!! TOGA!!! Couldn’t find a white sheet, so wore a sheet like shirt instead since I was pretty sure there was a “toga party” in this film. Actually “pretty sure” is inaccurate. I had a slight and often doubted inkling… 😂 Lucky I wasn’t wrong and the rest was a blast too! Reaction highlights released on YouTube this Friday June 27th! 🖤

Mr. Ed used to come on very early in the morning when I was like four years old. It was one of my first TV memories. I remember the horse would only talk to Wilbur. But that’s literally the extent of my knowledge. I don’t think I’ve ever went back, and rewatched it.

Yes! Of course I remember Mr. Ed. It’s one of my earliest TV memories. What a pleasant surprise that you saw it also. I didn’t realize it was still popular that many years later. After a couple of really heavy movies, a fun, almost stress free comedy farce. You seem to have enjoyed the other farces that you’ve reacted to, such as Airlane!, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and Spaceballs. All different but all meant as nonsensical fun. Heavy movies are important as they often make us think about difficult topics. Farcical comedies great so we don’t have to always think. You were temporarily stressed by the horse’s heart attack, until you realized the concept was too ridiculous to be taken seriously. It was meant as a farcical joke. A little stress also when a guy was dragged by a horse. So sorry to hear that actually happened to you as a little girl.
