A close-up of one of the attackers, and an early experiment with decal effects for blood. Close-in scenes made me really dislike this set: There was a weird bump map which meant that the ground rendered higher in Iray than it did in the preview window, so I kept having to re-do renders where figures looked like they were stuck in the ground.

Getting stuck in the ground would be perfect for a muddy or swampy ground though, right?
