You've asked. Bill answers!

Hi folks, Bill here.

Over the years, I've answered many an FAQ. But one question rises above the rest as possibly the most FA'd: whether or not corn is grass.

BUT just below that is another burning question folks have whenever we chat about movies they'd like to see riffed. I discuss it in more detail here in this exclusive Patreon audio clip.

Enjoy, and thanks.

I would imagine it's similar to trying to riff something that's self-aware of it's purposeful badness. Catalina Caper at least had some stabs at drama and action. Sharknado was just... so... Sharknado. Plus, the contrast of humor with drop dead seriousness about something ridiculous works so well.

I was thinking to myself, 'what about that crappy Rick Sloan film Hobgoblins?' just as you mentioned it....so jinx 1234567. Many thanks for all the laughs over the years!

That makes sense to me. The update was cool idea, too. But really, is Dave grass?

Great info - thanks Bill!

Great update, I've often wondered about that - as there are so many movies that are comedies that I wish had a Riff treatment. But I really appreciate that you don't try and upstage the material, and even in the sci/fi and horror films that you don't give away the end. Some of these movies had an interesting enough story that they are a fun ride, with the comedy of course (Parts - The Clonus Horror comes to mind)

Thanks Bill, that was excellent! Keep 'em coming please!

I may be one of the few - but I really dig Meet Dave. (Spaceship Dave) Delightful, absurd fun!

I would love to see you all tackle horror-comedy Blood Hook, especially since Kevin could offer us behind the scenes "facts" as part of the riff. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090750/

Sharknado fits the bill (pardon the pun), and I'm glad they haven't riffed any more of that franchise.

I always think of Catalina Caper as "the one time MST3k did a comedy."
